merced ave park

The City of El Monte is designing a linear park that will be in a median along Merced Avenue, between Towneway Drive and Garvey Avenue to provide increased safety, access, and comfort for all users of the road, including those with disabilities, walkers, cyclists, and transit riders. This park will feature spaces for running, walking, and cycling, as well as possible improvements such as landscaping, play areas, and seating, but we need your input! Please take our online survey to help us better understand how you envision utilizing the park, and what types of amenities you would like to see! The preliminary conceptual illustrations below showcase potential improvements - let us know what you think! If you would like to share additional thoughts or comments, please contact the city at kko@elmonteca.gov or 626-580-2058
